Track Name: Dad's Song
I grew up in a small town with big city dreams. Just a simple country boy spreading his wings. He said it’s time son, you’re ready to go. So I packed up that Uhaul, and headed down the road.

Made it down to Nashville, threw my guitar on my back. Times were tough money was tight, not sure if I can last. I wanted to call him, but my pride got in the way. So at night when I’m all alone, this is what I’d say.

(chorus)
Dad are you listening, it’s me. Things have gotten crazy, not sure what to believe. I don’t know if I have the strength to go on. Do I stay, should I move back home. Dad are you listening it’s me.

It wasn’t too long till I got a gig, just tips, but it’ll do. I started to find my own path, just like he taught me to. Follow your heart, keep the faith and you can’t go wrong. That’s why I’m on this stage tonight, singing my songs.

Got a call one lonely winter morning, they say it won’t be long. He’s losing his fight with cancer, so I caught the next flight home. I made it in time to say goodbye, then he passed away. As I dropped down right to my knees, this is what I’d pray.
(chorus)

(bridge)
That’s when in, my darkest time of need. A voice came into my head, a message just for me. And it said...

Son, are you listening, it’s me. You’re doing just fine kid you just got to believe. Hold you head up high, I’m always by your side. Son are you listening, just keep on dreaming. Dad, thanks for listening, love me.
Track Name: I Know You
I try to think where it all went wrong . How could you not remember my favorite song. I like my coffee black with cream. I’d rather see a movie like Field of Dreams. My favorite season is summer not fall, but I guess you didn’t really know me at all.

(chorus)
I took the time to, get to know you. To find out everything I can about you girl. I thought this thing through and I know its true. You didn’t really know me like I know you.

You’d rather drive a truck not an SUV. I know your favorite color isn’t blue it’s green. You drink light beer and not a glass of wine, and believe designer jeans will stand the test of time. I understand you and that’s a fact, but I guess that’s not really where you’re at
(chorus)

(bridge)
I just want you to know it’s not a game. If you don’t understand, why don’t cha, let me it explain.

(chorus x2)
Track Name: I'm Out Of Breath
Tigers thirteen cougars ten. Kicked the field goal for the win. Ready for the dance on Friday night. Nervous but can’t hardly wait. Went to pick her up at eight. Pulled up to her house and walked inside. All I could do was stare. As she walked down the stairs.

(chorus)
Like a sail without a wind. Or a poet without a pen. Or a fourth quarter drive with a minute left. Like an engine with no spark. Or a tin man with no heart. The air escaped from my chest. I’m out of breath, I’m out of breath.

Years gone by and I finally knew. The time was right to say I do. I bought her a ring and she said yes. Saturday the third of May. Church bells rang and the organ played. It’s a moment that I won’t forget. All I could do was smile. As she walked down the aisle.
(chorus)

(bridge) Even today she amazes me more. I still get those feelings just like before.

(chorus)

Tigers thirteen cougars ten. That’s the night our lives began.
Track Name: What's It Gonna Be
I sit alone in this smokey bar tonight, thinking about you. The time we drove to look-out point to park, that time in Malibu. You used to say I was your man, but it seems I’m out of your plan.

(chorus)
The love we shared is a little less stronger. Our time apart, a little bit longer. Just tell me know and I’ll turn around and leave. I’m out of fight, I’m out of breath, I haven’t got nothing left. So baby, baby, baby please…what’t is going to be.

I gave my heart, I gave my soul to you, there’s nothing left to prove. I used to laugh and smile through the pain, with nothing left to gain. But times have changed and so have we, what am I to believe.
(chorus)

Bridge
I’m tired of all the what ifs and maybes. All I ask is you, set me free.

(chorus)
The love we shared is a little less stronger. Our time apart, a little bit longer. Just tell me know, and I swear I'll leave. I’m out of fight, I’m out of breath, I haven’t got nothing left. So baby, baby, baby please…what’t is going to be...what’s it going to be…what’s it going to be.
